Judith Mattern Hearn became interested in the law as a child. Her father was a County Sheriff in a small, central Nebraska town. Judith and her mother served as his secretaries and female officers when needed, and during that time she witnessed a wide variety of domestic problems, drug abuse, family issues, and even murder cases. Judith was always amazed by her father’s compassion and integrity through it all. She knew she wanted to defend and help people from an early age.

After working as paralegal for 12 years in Austin, TX and Houston, TX, Judith graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, TX. She has been practicing law since 1996 and specializes in criminal and family law cases.

Judith Mattern Hearn knows that you do not want to hire an attorney who will look at your case as just another file in the drawer or check in the bank. She cares about helping people of all ages and backgrounds who find themselves in what is often the most challenging and difficult situation of their lives.
